BRAZILIAN SIDE OF WATERFALLS
Following the waterfall highway, we are led to the Iguaçu National Park, an approximately 185,000-hectare area established in 1939. UNESCO declared the Park a World Heritage Site, and boasts preserved local flora and fauna. Following walkways bordering the Iguaçu River, we see hundreds of waterfalls until we reach the Salto Floriano overlook, where there is a complete front view of the Devil's Throat Waterfalls (Garganta do Diablo). Here we may eat at the Porto Canoas restaurant. On the way back, we visit one of the regional artisan centers. Length: 3h.

ARGENTINE SIDE OF WATERFALLS
After passing through Brazilian/Argentine customs, we cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge, constructed over the Iguaçu River. 55,500 hectares long, this trip provides a complete, unique, and more educational view of the waterfalls, especially the Devil's Throat Waterfalls (Garganta do Diabo). Upper and lower paths allows for more intimate knowledge of the waterfalls, as well as San Martin Island. Length: 5h.

BIRD PARK
The Bird Park is an ecological sanctuary joining ecotourism and environmental education.
Visitors have the opportunity to enter greenhouses to observe bird life from up close.
In this park there are more than 900 birds representing 150 different species from around the world, some of which are facing extinction. There are also animal species such as: snakes, butterflies, monkeys, turtles, and spiders. Entry is included for the bird, toucan, and macaw cages, which are all integrated in subtropical flora. MACUCO BOAT SAFARI
This daytrip, following the Macuco Trail, takes place in the National Park, on the open paved highway. A specialized guide leads this slow-paced tour through 3 Km of flora, giving interesting explanations of ecological topics from the region. The trip ends on foot, walking to the edge of the Iguaçu River, where a special motorboat takes the tourists to the closest point to the waterfalls. This unique view of the waterfalls promises to be moving for the visitor.Length: 2h.

ITAIPU - PANORAMIC VISIT
The visit starts in the Itaipu Reception Center, with an informative film about the plant. From there, we continue on to the main overlook where the spillway may be seen. This is the largest hydroelectric plant in the world, and is made up of one dam and eighteen 700-mw turbines that produce 76 billion kw/h/year. This energy supplies six Brazilian states as well as Paraguay. The Binacional company produces 25% of all energy generated in Brazil.

BLACK WELL TRAIL
The Trail of the Black Pit is a tour that focuses on getting the tourists to have more interaction with nature. Located in the Iguazu National Park, the 9 km long trail is home to several species of exotic plants and wildlife. During winter, it is common the sighting of alligators and several species of birds. The route can be done on foot, bicycle or carts. After the walk there is a 10 feet tall bunker with a panoramic view of the imposing Iguazu River.Next, visitors take a twin-engine boat ride on the Iguazu River passing through the islands like the Parrot Island and the Island of the Herons, where you'll find a variety of birds.
Tourists can do the route by the river with inflatable kayaks and accompanied by experienced instructors who provide all participants with safety equipment, or continue the tour by motorboat. This is tourism for the traditional and for the adventurous ones. The ride is equipped with all necessary safety equipment and with the help of

RAPPEL
The thrill of walking through the Iguazu Falls is not complete until the tourist has not done the greatest adventure in Foz de Iguacu: Rappel at the Falls.
The visitor walks on a suspending bridge along an adventurous trail through the woods to the Rappel Platform at the edge of the Iguazu River. From there the thrill-seekers face a climb-down of 55 meters. A breathtaking adventure, but the union between the heavenly falls of Iguazu Falls and this thrilling practice leads visitors to an unforgettable tour filled with adrenalin. Anyone from the age of seven can join, and the practitioner gets down using ropes and safety equipment, and can be practiced for up to two people at once.
Organized by the Field Challenges Canyon Iguazu, which provides safety equipment following the guidelines of the International Mountaineering and Climbing (UIAA),practitioners will be informed by expert guides who will forward all the necessary instructions.
Duration: approximately 30 minutes.
Tips: Use both comfortable clothing and shoes.
Age range: from 7 years of age with at least 1.30 meters tall.

RAFTING
The White Water Rafting in the Iguazu River is an activity designed for the adventure- hearts who want the make the most of the rapids in the Iguazu Falls.
The inflatable boats, which can carry up to 10 people, have a central oar. The rapids has an extension of 4 km, 2 km of them are classified as Medium Level(class 3+) and the other 2 km are of calm waters, which is in fact appropriate for swimming.
Even those who have never had a go on Rafting can practice it after receiving some instructions from the experienced guides, all members of the Brazilian Federation of Canoeing. This sport is absolutely thrilling and you will experience the force and the beauty of nature blended in one activity. It is done under the international regulations and with all the necessary safety equipment. The Canyon Team will provide you with life jackets, helmets and oars, and to guarantee even more the safety of the participants, a motorboat accompanies the rafts all the way downstream in case of any accident.
Adventure length: between 1 hour and 1 hour and 3 minutes
Tips: wear waterproof clothes or swimsuit.
Who can join the adventure: anyone from 14 years old and upwards.
